How do I turn off follow up emails?

If a candidate has responded to you via an other channel than Aevy - stop the automatic follow up emails from going out.

If you want to stop all follow up emails from a specific email campaign, you will have to stop the entire campaign and all further email communication, click 'pause' in the main dashboard view of a specific campaign:

If you want to stop all follow up emails from a specific email campaign, follow these steps:

 

1. Select the position you where you want to stop follow ups from going out:

You will find all your positions on the left hand side top corner.

2. Select Candidates in the top bar menu:

Under the Candidates tab, you can view all contacted and to be contacted candidates.

3. Select the 'contacted' tab:

Under the contacted tab, all candidates that have been contacted in this specific position will be listed:

4. Opt out and stop follow up emails from going out

A candidate will be active in an email sequence as long as the candidate has not responded to any of the emails in the sequence. As soon as the candidate has responded to any email in the sequence, the candidate won't receive any additional follow up emails. The candidate will automatically inactive once all the follow up emails in the sequence has been sent out. 

If a candidate is still active in a sequence and one wants to opt out a specific candidate - click on the green toggle on the right hand side of the candidate name. If the toggle is green - the candidate will receive a follow up email. If the toggle is grey - the candidate won't receive any follow up emails.

This can be in particular useful if a candidates has gotten back to you via another channel, such as phone, social media or else.
